The Bay of Fundy is not only home to the world’s highest tides but also breathtaking, natural beauty, clean, cool air and a slow-paced lifestyle. Spend eight days leisurely exploring the region and, as you explore, uncover marine wonders and intriguing history. At the end of each day retire to a charming country inn or bed and breakfast where you will enjoy warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere.

Day 1

Arrive in the rural, coastal community of Chance Harbour, NB. The Mariner’s Inn provides its visitors with a rare combination of elevated ocean view and uninhabited forested shore, producing an awe-inspiring scene of natural beauty.

Day 2

Take a day trip to historic St. Andrews-by-the-Sea and venture on the seas in search of whales. Other things to do and see while in St. Andrews include touring Minister’s Island at low tide, visiting the Huntsman Marine Aquarium or strolling through Kingsbrae Gardens.

Day 3

Say good-bye to your hosts at the Mariner’s Inn and travel into Canada’s first incorporated city for a day of sightseeing, which includes tickets for the “Experience the Falls” Boat Tour. Follow the Fundy Coastal Drive to Albert County. Explore some of the last remaining wilderness in southern New Brunswick, visit the oldest lighthouse on the province's mainland, walk the ocean floor and witness the awesome forces of the Bay of Fundy. Spend the evening at a country inn in the heart of the Fundy Coastal Drive.

Day 4

Spend a second day exploring Albert County, as one is definitely not enough.

Day 5

Once you have seen all the sights along this part of the Bay of Fundy, follow the Fundy Coastal Drive to its end at the provincial border. Enter Nova Scotia’s Fundy Shore Drive and travel along the coast to Parrsboro, making interesting stops along the way. Spend the evening at a welcoming bed and breakfast just steps from the Fundy Shores.

Day 6

Travel to Digby – home of the world renowned Digby Scallop. On today’s drive perhaps witness the arrival of the tidal bore, marvel at the Fundy tides and tour a vineyard.

Day 7

Explore Annapolis Royal and Digby.
