BayofFundy.com is pleased to announce its new partnership with Carlson Wagonlit/Harvey’s Travel in Moncton, New Brunswick.
As the 2005 season set new records for BayofFundy.com, in preparation for a promising 2006 season, the BayofFundy.com team put their heads together to come up with a plan to fulfill the needs of its clients while maintaining the high quality of service it has become renowned for amongst travelers to the region.
For BayofFundy.com’s peak season, May 1 to October 1, CEO Bill Postma came up with the concept of outsourcing certain package fulfillment steps to an industry partner of excellent reputation, familiar with the Bay of Fundy destination and offering bilingual services. Wanting to stay within the Fundy region, Moncton seemed the obvious location to explore.
Kathy Caron, Manager of Harvey’s Travel on 12 Cameron Street, Moncton was approached by Bill and BayofFundy.com’s CFO, Frank Postma, presenting and researching the cooperative opportunity. Ms. Caron saw the potential for her agency as did her regional manger, Valerie MacNutt.
On April 4th, BayofFundy.com received official confirmation that Harvey’s Travel would work as a subcontractor of the inbound travel agency. Harvey’s Travel Vacation Travel Consultants Misty Cormier and Chantal Haché will be working closely with BayofFundy.com's Executive Travel Consultant, Marcy Barnes, to make the 2006 travel season a success for both companies.
