MCLAUGHLIN’S WHARF, SEAL COVE A youngster takes a running jump “down ‘n the creek”, a favorite Seal Cove swimming hole. Frequented by children from all over Grand Manan, it is one of the favorite swimming areas on the island. It is here that the fresh water from a brook mixes with the cold tidal flow, offering a tolerable and refreshing dip on a hot August afternoon.
