In recent years the world of Sushi, relatively unknown in mainstream North America, has been opened to many and has developed a loyal following. Learn the art of Japanese cuisine while relaxing in the serene, Zen like atmosphere of The Mariner's Inn. Chef Arne has selected the finest that Japan has to offer to make this weekend adventure feel like a great escape to Tokyo.

Appetizers:

California rolls – sticky rice filled with fresh avocado, crab and cucumbers rolled to perfection.

Gyoza – Delicately seasoned Japanese Dumplings. Simple and fun to make, these Tokyo treasures are an excellent accompaniment to seafood flavours.

Main Course:

Karei Rice (Japanese Style Curry Rice) – A traditional Japanese stew which combines the goodness of chicken, potatoes, onions and sweet peas or corn, in a spicy curry sauce. You will learn to make it as hot and spicy as you like it!!
